SKETCHcrawl in Rorschach

USk St. Gallen invites all urban sketchers and anyone who enjoys sketching together to the SKETCHcrawl in Rorschach. The event serves as a pre-event for the 8th Swiss Urban Sketchers Symposium 2026, taking place in St. Gallen in September, and, together with the preceding three-day exhibition «Urban Sketching» in the region, aims to raise awareness of urban sketching and the drawing gathering.

Time: 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

Meeting point: TRAFO, Stadtwald, 9400 Rorschach

The SKETCHcrawl marks the conclusion of the exhibition «Urban Sketching», organized by the Kunstverein Rorschach in collaboration with the Urban Sketchers St. Gallen. We invite a diverse selection of urban sketchers to exhibit their sketchbooks, loose drawings, or even framed artwork during the three-day exhibition from August 14–16, 2026, at TRAFO Rorschach. This call is open to all artists, regardless of where they live or whether they belong to a USk regional group. Anyone interested in contributing their sketches and drawings to the exhibition can find more information here or feel free to contact Lukas Mosimann by email.

Anyone can participate in the SKETCHcrawl; no registration is required, and participation is free. Just pack your own drawing supplies and let’s get started. Following the SKETCHcrawl, the resulting drawings can be displayed at the exhibition’s closing reception.
