Sketching around Klausbrunnen

This time we will sketch around the Klausbrunnen in Zurich’s Oberdorf. The fountain goes back to a request from 1588 and is therefore part of the city’s layered urban history. Around the square there are many narrow lanes where you will find both shade and plenty of picturesque corners waiting to be sketched.

Meeting point: On the small open square at the corner of Neustadtgasse / Frankengasse, right by the Klausbrunnen.

Please bring your own drawing materials and, ideally, a small folding stool. No prior experience required. We sketch for about 2 hours, solo or in small groups, at an easy pace. Afterwards we regroup, share our sketches and take a group photo.
