Sketching around Höngg Church (ZH)

Autumn is slowly arriving – this time we will sketch around Höngg Church. From its elevated position above the vineyard, there are sweeping views across Zurich and, with a bit of luck, the first vine leaves will already be showing their autumn colours. But it is equally worth looking in the other direction: around the church you will find the historic rectory, the old schoolhouse and other buildings from Höngg’s former village centre. The church itself is one of the oldest in the area, and its distinctive tower still shapes the neighbourhood’s skyline today. Plenty of subjects, in other words, for very different sketches.

Meeting point: On the square in front of Höngg Reformed Church, Zürich.

Please bring your own drawing materials and, ideally, a small folding stool. No prior experience required. We sketch for about 2 hours, solo or in small groups, at an easy pace. Afterwards we regroup, share our sketches and take a group photo.
