Basel Carnival, exhibition

Two days before the Morgestraich, we visit the permanent exhibition on Basel Carnival at the Museum of Cultures. The historic rooms convey the carnival atmosphere. They are filled with mostly historical artefacts that give Basel Carnival its distinctive character.
It is fun to sketch these, as it invites you to exaggerate and caricature. Children also have fun here. Link: information about the Basel Carnival exhibition

Participation by registration only.
The exhibition is located in an annex of the museum, where space is limited. The number of participants and the length of stay are therefore restricted, and registration with Herrat (email address: herrat-usk@bluewin.ch) is required.
We will form two groups. Up to 10 people per group will have one hour to visit the exhibition:
Group 1: 2:00–3:00 p.m.
Group 2: 3:00–4:00 p.m.
The first 10 registrations will be in the first group from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m., and the following registrations will be in the second group. If only 10 people register, they can stay for the entire two hours.

1st group: 1:40 p.m. in the entrance hall at the ticket office
2nd group: 2:40 p.m. in the entrance hall at the ticket office
Both groups: 4 p.m. viewing of the sketches, also in the entrance hall at the ticket office
