Saturday, 15 August 2026: Sketchcrawl Basel at the Basel Ballet

We’ll be visiting the Basel Ballet to watch their training sessions and rehearsals.

There are only places available for a maximum of 20 people. If you’d like to take part, please register by 6 pm on Friday, 14 August at the latest by emailing me at herrat-usk@bluewin.ch.

Meeting point

9.45 am sharp at Theatre Basel, stage entrance, Elisabethenstrasse 16 (Google Maps link)

We’ll be picked up there, so anyone who isn’t there on time won’t be able to get in.

Schedule

• 10.00 to approx. 11.15 am: Ballet training, drawing from the gallery
• Followed by a short break; please bring your own food and drink (which can be eaten outside the ballet studios)
• 11.30 am: Rehearsals for the new production begin
• Around 12.30/1.00 pm: Rehearsal break and the end of the session for us
• Afterwards, we’ll meet outside the theatre café (Link) to look at the drawings we’ve done.

‒    We must take our shoes off before stepping onto the dance floor.

‒    Please bring your own stool. There are no chairs in the dance studios; there are only folding seats in the gallery.
