SKETCHcrawl in Rorschach

USk St.Gallen invites all Urban Sketchers and anyone who enjoys sketching together to the SKETCHcrawl in Rorschach. The event serves as a pre-event for the 8th Swiss Urban Sketchers Symposium 2026, taking place September 3–5 in St.Gallen, and – together with the preceding three-day «Urban Sketching» exhibition in the region – aims to raise awareness of urban sketching and the drawing gathering.

The SKETCHcrawl marks the conclusion of the «Urban Sketching» exhibition, organized by the Kunstverein Rorschach in collaboration with the Urban Sketchers St.Gallen. Urban Sketchers from all over Switzerland, who regularly meet in various regional USk groups to sketch together, will exhibit their works and sketchbooks during the three-day exhibition from August 14–16, 2026, at TRAFO Rorschach. As part of the exhibition, an «Urban Sketching Basics» workshop will take place on Saturday.

Anyone can participate in the SKETCHcrawl; no registration is required, and participation is free. Just pack your own drawing supplies and let’s get started. The resulting drawings will then be laid out on tables, photographed together, and discussed during the closing event.
