DESCRIPTION:Ce mois-ci nous nous retrouverons en face de la Maison-Royale. \nPoint de rendez-vous: Quai Gustave-Ador 46\, le samedi 27 Juin 2026 à 11:00. \nClassée monument historique par le canton de Genève en 2001\, la Maison Royale est sans conteste le bâtiment le plus impressionnant de la rade\, mais n’a jamais abrité de tête couronnée ! Construite entre 1907 et 1909 par les architectes Henri Garcin et Charles Bizot\, elle suscita l’ire des Genevois qui la nommèrent « le bijou au goût macaque » lors du concours des façades en 1909\, le tout lié aux goûts architecturaux particuliers de l’époque. \nN’oubliez pas votre crème solaire et votre chapeau! \nComme toujours\, pensez à apporter votre matériel de dessin: \n\nCarnet de croquis / bloc de papier\,\nCrayons\, gomme\, stylos\nAquarelles\, pinceaux\nTabouret pliant\, chevalet de campagne\, etc

SUMMARY:Sketchcrawl à la Fête fédérale du yodel\, à Bâle
DESCRIPTION:Comme chacun sait\, les fêtes de yodel sont l’occasion de célébrer ensemble\, de manière spontanée\, le yodel\, le chant et le cor des Alpes\, accompagnés de manœuvres de drapeaux dans les ruelles du site de la fête. Le site est divisé en trois zones : le « village du yodel » sur la Petersplatz\, la « rue du yodel » près du Petersgraben adjacent et le « Jodlerberg » (les ruelles de la vieille ville). Partout\, on trouvera un grand nombre de stands et de buvettes\, petits et grands\, pour restaurer tous les participants à la Fête fédérale. Vous trouverez un aperçu du site de la fête sur le plan de situation (lien). L’accès au site de la fête est en principe libre. \nNous nous retrouvons devant l’église Saint-Pierre. Des sujets à dessiner se trouvent juste en face\, sur la Petersplatz\, où se trouve le « Jodlerdorf » avec la scène en plein air de la Banque cantonale de Bâle (BKB).\nSi vous souhaitez dessiner des joueurs de cor des Alpes\, je vous recommande l’espace dédié aux prestations de cor des Alpes\, à l’école Holbeinschulhaus\, sur la cour de récréation\, au 9 de la Kanonengasse. SUMMARY:Sketching at  Botanischer Garten Grüningen (ZH)
DESCRIPTION:After several meetups in the city\, it is time for another small trip outside Zurich. Our destination is the Botanical Garden Grüningen\, set on a hill above the historic little town and shaped like an arboretum. The award-winning greenhouse\, trees and shrubs from around the world\, and the varied outdoor spaces offer plenty of sketching subjects somewhere between plant study and architecture. Even in less-than-perfect weather\, the visit is well worth it: there are several sheltered places to draw and take cover\, not only inside the greenhouse itself. We are very pleased to be welcomed to the garden and would like to warmly thank our hosts for the invitation. \nMeeting point\nAt the entrance to the Botanical Garden Grüningen. \nGetting there\nBy public transport\, you can reach the garden from Zurich\, Winterthur or Rapperswil via S-Bahn to Wetzikon ZH\, then bus 867 to Grüningen\, Im Haufland. From Uster\, take bus 845 to Grüningen\, Im Haufland. From the bus stop\, it is about a 20-minute walk to the garden. \nIf you are coming by car\, free parking is available. \nMore information can be found here: https://www.botanischer-garten.ch/den-garten-besuchen/ \nEntrance\nThe entrance is free of charge. \nPlease bring your own drawing materials and\, ideally\, a small folding stool. The event serves as a pre-event for the 8th Swiss Urban Sketchers Symposium 2026\, taking place in St. Gallen in September\, and\, together with the preceding three-day exhibition «Urban Sketching» in the region\, aims to raise awareness of urban sketching and the drawing gathering. \nDate: Sunday\, August 16\, 2026

\nMeeting point: TRAFO\, Stadtwald\, 9400 Rorschach \nThe SKETCHcrawl marks the conclusion of the exhibition «Urban Sketching»\, organized by the Kunstverein Rorschach in collaboration with the Urban Sketchers St. Gallen. We invite a diverse selection of urban sketchers to exhibit their sketchbooks\, loose drawings\, or even framed artwork during the three-day exhibition from August 14–16\, 2026\, at TRAFO Rorschach. Du 3 au 5 septembre 2026\, des urban sketchers venus de près ou de loin se réuniront ici pour découvrir la ville à travers le dessin. L’accent sera mis sur le dessin en commun et les échanges personnels. Tous les dessinateurs et dessinatrices sont les bienvenus\, quels que soient leur niveau\, leur expérience\, leur parcours et leur âge. \nÀ Saint-Gall\, nous empruntons une nouvelle voie. Lors de la rencontre USk de cette année\, nous vous proposons un programme qui met l’accent sur le dessin en commun et les échanges personnels… sans ateliers. Nous mettons l’accent sur 4 SketchWalks avec un total de 18 SketchPoints et découvrirons ensemble les ruelles et les recoins de la ville historique de Saint-Gall.
