DESCRIPTION:Das vierte Urbansketcher-Weekend in Intragna ist ein verlängertes Wochenende\, in welchem wir uns dem Zeichnen in der Umgebung widmen. Wir verbringen gemeinsam vier Tage mit Workshops\, Sketchwalks und je nach persönlichen Vorlieben mit gemeinsamen Nachtessen. Die vier WorkshopleiterInnen bieten ein breites Spektrum an individuellen Arten des Urbansketching und einen Einblick in verschiedene Zeichentechniken. \nKurslokal ist der Bildraum Miravalle in Intragna. Wir treffen uns jeweils in der Galerie zur Einführung des Workshops und zeichnen anschliessend im Ort und in der nahen Umgebung.\nJe nach Wetter werden wir am Nachmittag gemeinsam Sketchwalks machen\, im Ort oder an der Melezza zeichnen.\nDie Nachtessen können gemeinsam oder individuell organisiert werden.\nFür Anreise und Übernachtungen sind die KursteilnehmerInnen selbständig besorgt. \nDauer: Donnerstag\, 14. Just like last year\, we’ve been invited to participate at the Zelt-Werk on Chabisplatz in Rorschach. The date and the special atmosphere at Rorschach Harbor\, right right on the shores of Lake Constance\, are perfect for kicking off the summer season together with a drink and some delicious street food. \nAll artists are warmly invited to hang their drawn portraits on the line stretched across the Zelt-Werk. DESCRIPTION:The 7th Urban Sketchers Week 2026 in Intragna will take place again at the end of July. \nThe workshops will be offered by: \n\nEleanor Doughty\, Seattle\nJenny Adam\, Hamburg\nStéphanie Senez\, Paris\nRolf Schröter\, Berlin\n\nYou can find the program and the registration form (PDF) at usk-week.ch \nAccommodation: Participants are responsible for their own accommodation. Hotels are listed in the program. \nMeals: Breakfast and lunch are on your own; dinner can be eaten individually or together at restaurants and grottos in the area. \nParticipants: A maximum of 12 participants per workshop\, for a total of 24. \nUSK Week welcomes everyone who enjoys drawing. No prior experience is necessary. \nLanguage: The workshops led by Jenny Adam and Rolf Schröter will be held in German\, while those led by Eleanor Doughty and Stéphanie Senez will be in English. \nCurrent Information:\nBefore each workshop\, at 8:50 a.m.\, participants will be informed about the program details and meeting points for the sketchwalks. \nShort-notice program changes are possible. \nMaterials and Preparation:\nBring your preferred materials such as pencils\, brushes\, paints\, sketchbooks\, and drawing pads. The specific materials required for each workshop are listed in the workshop descriptions. \nWeatherproof clothing\, shoes with good tread or hiking boots\, a backpack\, hiking poles (optional)\, sun and rain protection\, and swimwear are recommended. Participation in the hikes is voluntary and requires a good level of fitness appropriate for the trails in Ticino. \nParticipants are responsible for their own suitable hiking equipment\, preparations\, and insurance.

DESCRIPTION:USk St. Gallen invites all urban sketchers and anyone who enjoys sketching together to the SKETCHcrawl in Rorschach. The event serves as a pre-event for the 8th Swiss Urban Sketchers Symposium 2026\, taking place in St. Gallen in September\, and\, together with the preceding three-day exhibition «Urban Sketching» in the region\, aims to raise awareness of urban sketching and the drawing gathering. \nDate: Sunday\, August 16\, 2026

\nMeeting point: TRAFO\, Stadtwald\, 9400 Rorschach \nThe SKETCHcrawl marks the conclusion of the exhibition «Urban Sketching»\, organized by the Kunstverein Rorschach in collaboration with the Urban Sketchers St. Gallen. We invite a diverse selection of urban sketchers to exhibit their sketchbooks\, loose drawings\, or even framed artwork during the three-day exhibition from August 14–16\, 2026\, at TRAFO Rorschach. This call is open to all artists\, regardless of where they live or whether they belong to a USk regional group. Anyone interested in contributing their sketches and drawings to the exhibition can find more information here or feel free to contact Lukas Mosimann by email. \nAnyone can participate in the SKETCHcrawl; no registration is required\, and participation is free. SUMMARY:8th Swiss Urban Sketchers Symposium 2026 in St.Gallen
DESCRIPTION:The city of St.Gallen is famous for its picturesque old town with 111 ornate bay windows. The Abbey District\, with its impressive Baroque cathedral and the opulent Rococo hall of the Abbey Library\, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here\, history can be experienced at every turn. 
From September 3–5\, 2026\, urban sketchers from near and far will gather here to discover the city through drawing. The focus will be on drawing together and personal exchange. All artists are welcome\, regardless of skill level\, experience\, background\, or age. \nIn St.Gallen\, we are breaking new ground. At this year’s USk meeting\, we are offering you a program that focuses on drawing together and personal exchange… without workshops. We are focusing on 4 SketchWalks with a total of 18 SketchPoints\, during which we will discover the alleys and corners of the historic city of St. Gallen together. We also offer a great supporting program with plenty of opportunity to talk shop with old and new friends\, and we’ll give you an inspiring souvenir to take home with you. But you can also look forward to lots of familiar features – the organizing committee is already working on the program with enthusiasm and dedication.
