DESCRIPTION:Diesen Sonntag zeichnen wir rund um das Schloss Nidau. Treffpunkt ist um 14 Uhr vor dem Schlosseingang. \nZeichnungsort: Das Schloss steht in mitten eines (durch die Hitze nicht mehr so) grünen Parkes mit höhen Bäumen\, Spielplatz und Efeu-Herz an der Rundmauer. Gleich daneben befindet sich die Zihl: ein kleiner Nebenarm der Aare\, mit Bäumen und viel Schatten gesäumt. In Laufnähe befindet sich die Altstadt von Nidau\, das Strandbad Biel sowie die Campus-Baustelle und der Bahnhof.

DESCRIPTION:Am Sonntag treffen wir uns beim Agrarmuseum Burgrain (Alberswil) in der Nähe von Wolhusen. Das Museum gehört zum Erlebnisbauernhof Burgrain. Hier gibt es viele spannende Sujets: der Bauernhof\, das Agrarmuseum\, ein Natur- und Bildungsgarten\, ausserdem hat es ein Restaurant und einen Hofladen. Und in der Nähe steht ein kleiner Hügel mit einer Kapelle. Also\, langweilig wird es nicht. \nWann: Sonntag\, 5. Juli 2026\nZeit: von 10:00 bis 12:00\nOrt: Agrarmuseum Burgrain\nTreffpunkt: vor dem Museum \nAnfahrt mit dem ÖV:\nAb Bahnhof Willisau Bus Nummer 271 (Richtung Dagmersellen) oder 63 (Richtung Sursee)\, ab Bahnhof Sursee Bus Nummer 63 (Richtung Käppelimatt) oder ab Bahnhof Nebikon Bus Nummer 271 (Richtung Willisau) bis zur Haltstelle «Alberswil Burgrain». Von hier sind es nur noch 200 Meter Richtung Huttwil/Gettnau. \nAnfahrt mit dem Auto:\nDer Burgrain liegt an der Durchgangsstrasse Sursee–Ettiswil–Huttwil. Es hat genügend Parkplätze auf dem Gelände. \nDas Treffen ist für alle\, die gerne zeichnen. Man muss sich nicht anmelden und es kostet auch nichts. Einfach eigenes Zeichen-Material mitbringen und los geht’s.

DESCRIPTION:Diesen Sonntag zeichnen wir im und um den Elfenaupark in Biel/Bienne. Treffpunkt ist um 14 Uhr vor dem Eingang des Parkes beim Restaurant Ecluse. \nZeichnungsort: Bei dieser Hitze suchen wir Schatten\, grün und Wasser. All das findet sich im und um den Elfenaupark! Der Park bietet höhe Bäume\, einen Teich und kleine Flüsschen. Auch die Schüss-Promenade mit seinen hohen Baumreihen bietet reichlich Schatten und kühl. In Laufnähe befinden sich zudem die Innenstadt mit der Braderie sowie der Strandboden\, wer kurz baden möchte. Das Restaurant Ecluse ist leider sonntags geschlossen\, bietet aber mit seinem Vordach Schutz\, sollte ein Gewitter durchziehen.

DESCRIPTION:After several meetups in the city\, it is time for another small trip outside Zurich. Our destination is the Botanical Garden Grüningen\, set on a hill above the historic little town and shaped like an arboretum. The award-winning greenhouse\, trees and shrubs from around the world\, and the varied outdoor spaces offer plenty of sketching subjects somewhere between plant study and architecture. Even in less-than-perfect weather\, the visit is well worth it: there are several sheltered places to draw and take cover\, not only inside the greenhouse itself. We are very pleased to be welcomed to the garden and would like to warmly thank our hosts for the invitation. \nMeeting point\nAt the entrance to the Botanical Garden Grüningen. \nGetting there\nBy public transport\, you can reach the garden from Zurich\, Winterthur or Rapperswil via S-Bahn to Wetzikon ZH\, then bus 867 to Grüningen\, Im Haufland. From Uster\, take bus 845 to Grüningen\, Im Haufland. From the bus stop\, it is about a 20-minute walk to the garden. \nIf you are coming by car\, free parking is available. \nMore information can be found here: https://www.botanischer-garten.ch/den-garten-besuchen/ \nEntrance\nThe entrance is free of charge. \nPlease bring your own drawing materials and\, ideally\, a small folding stool. DESCRIPTION:Please note: Brought forward to the morning due to the extreme heat  \nAs is well known\, yodelling festivals are celebrated with spontaneous group yodelling\, singing and alphorn playing\, combined with flag-waving in the alleys of the festival grounds. The festival grounds are divided into three zones: the Yodelling Village on Petersplatz\, the Yodelling Mile by the adjacent Petersgraben\, and the ‘Yodelling Hill’ (i.e. the old town alleys). There will be a large number of small and larger festival bars and stalls throughout the area to cater for everyone at the Swiss Festival. An overview of the festival grounds can be found on the site map (link to site map). Access to the festival grounds is generally free. \nWe’ll meet in front of St Peter’s Church. Subjects to sketch can be found directly opposite on Petersplatz\, where the ‘Yodelling Village’ is located\, featuring the open-air stage of the Basler Kantonalbank (BKB). \nFor anyone who’d like to sketch alphorn players\, I recommend the rehearsal area for alphorn performances at the Holbeinschulhaus\, Pausenplatz\, Kanonengasse 9. Treffpunkt ist um 14 Uhr an der Werkhofstrasse 8.\n\nZeichnungsort: Mitten in der Stadt gelegen\, findet hier jeder etwas zum Zeichnen: Sei es das Feuerwehr-Gebäude\, den spannenden Turm oder die Fahrzeuge. Gleich daneben befindet sich das Ambulanz-Depot\, einige Gewerbe-Bauten sowie anschliessend ein Wohnquartier. Zur anderen Seite liegt die Esplanade-Parkanlage\, ein kleiner Fluss schlängelt sich durch die Gegend und die Sporthalle ist hinter der Feuerwehr. In Laufnähe befindet sich zudem der Gaskessel\, das Kongresshaus und der Güterbahnhof.

DESCRIPTION:Diesen Sonntag zeichnen wir im Fraubrunnenhaus in Twann. Treffpunkt ist um 14 Uhr vor dem Eingang an der Dorfgasse 28 in Twann. Wer mit dem 13.58Uhr-Zug ankommt\, ist pünktlich\, keine Sorge! \nOrganisatorisches: Der Eintritt ist frei und die Rucksäcke dürfen mit in die Ausstellung genommen werden. In den Räumlichkeiten sind Stühle verteilt\, welche mann benutzen kann. Bitte kein offenes Wasser verwenden\, Wassertankpinsel hingegen sind erlaubt. \nZeichnungsort: Das Fraubrunnenhaus ist das ehemalige Herbsthaus des Frauenklosters Fraubrunnen und beherbergt heute eine spannende Ausstellung über die Pfahlbauer der Umgebung. Pfeilspitzen\, Keramik\, Stein- und Horngeräte sowie Bronzegegenstände lassen sich entdecken.\nZudem haben wir auch Zugang zu der Halle mit Minush dem Bären und dem alten Ofen; der Aussenterrasse mit Blick auf den See und den Garten; dem Innenhof und dem originalen Dachstock. In jeder Ecke lässt sich etwas entdecken: Die Bibliothek mit den alten Büchern\, die Metall-Kammer mit Schlüsseln\, alten Bügeleisen\, Pfannenketten und vieles dem Zweck vergessenen. Es findet sicher jeder etwas zu zeichnen. In Laufnähe sind zudem die Altstadt Twann sowie das Seeufer und die Rebberge.

DESCRIPTION:This time we will sketch around the Klausbrunnen in Zurich’s Oberdorf. The fountain goes back to a request from 1588 and is therefore part of the city’s layered urban history. Around the square there are many narrow lanes where you will find both shade and plenty of picturesque corners waiting to be sketched. \nMeeting point: On the small open square at the corner of Neustadtgasse / Frankengasse\, right by the Klausbrunnen. \nPlease bring your own drawing materials and\, ideally\, a small folding stool. No prior experience required. We sketch for about 2 hours\, solo or in small groups\, at an easy pace. Afterwards we regroup\, share our sketches and take a group photo.

The project is supported by the Station Circus association\, which is also committed to the further development of circus culture in Switzerland. DESCRIPTION:Einladung zur Donnerstagsgruppe am 07.05.2026 \nPetrus ist mal wieder zickig\, aber in den letzten Tagen wurde jeden Tag weniger Niederschlag angesagt. Im Moment ist Donnerstag von 10 –12 Uhr sogar ohne Niederschlag wahrscheinlich. Also wagen wir es doch! \nWir treffen uns um 10 Uhr beim Weiher in Riehen im Sarasinpark (vis-a-vis Fondation Beyeler). \n \nMotive: \n\nWeiher (mit Fröschchen\, Libellen und Enten) und Orangerie (erbaut 1836)\nSchöne Allee\nNeben dem Park ist das Künstlerhaus Claire Ochsner mit skurrilen Skulpturen und Café (öffnet aber erst um 11 Uhr).\n\n  \nIm Park gibt es keinen Regenschutz.
