DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, 12 September\, Urban Sketchers Ticino invites Urban Sketchers from Switzerland and Northern Italy to a day of meeting\, sketching and sharing in the heart of Lugano. \nThe initiative takes place as part of the third edition of GEA Art Fest ? DESCRIPTION:Lugano drawn from life: an invitation to slow down\nFrom 7 to 15 September 2026\, the Patio of Lugano City Hall will host the third edition of GEA Lugano Art Fest\, this year dedicated to carnets de voyage and drawing from life. \nAt the heart of the Festival\, the exhibition ?Sguardi Disegnati: visioni e suggestioni su Lugano? brings together 189 original works by 15 artists from Urban Sketchers Ticino: places\, people and stories of the region captured through sketchbooks\, drawings and different techniques\, all created through direct observation. \nBut GEA is much more than an exhibition. For nine days\, the Patio will become a meeting place open to the city\, with GEA Talks\, drawing workshops for adults\, children and families\, guided tours\, encounters\, an aperitif and opportunities to draw together. \nAmong the events\, Saturday\, 12 September will be particularly dedicated to the Urban Sketchers community\, with a drawing workshop\, a Drawing Marathon through Lugano with Dario Galimberti\, and the Artists’ Lounge. \nGuided tours with Artistic Director Cristina Rogna Manassero will take place Monday to Friday at 5:30 PM and Saturday and Sunday at 10:30 AM. \n📍 Patio of Lugano City Hall📅 7?15 September 2026🕙 Exhibition open daily 10:00 AM?7:30 PM🎟 Free admission \nDownload the complete GEA programme below. \nDownload the full programme
